Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Married to Kelly (with a 'Y')

Ran over behind Smiths and then looped around the elementary school.  Had one "warm-up" and one "cool-down" mile.  Splits were 8:26, 7:41, 7:30, 7:43, 7:57, for a 7:53 average.  I was glad I could get down under 8 for the whole thing.  I have been feeling (today included) very tired.  Legs have been feeling heavy and sluggish.

Last night Kelly and I rode part way up AF canyon.  We stopped 8 miles short of the top.  Kelly rides that like it's a speed bump on a flat road.  Such strong biking legs.  Someday I want to be able to keep up with her on a bike.  :-)

Have a GREAT day!

You were looking strong and fast when you ran past. That must've been your 3rd mile from the description of your route. VERY COOL!

I think it's expected to feel sluggish and tired when you're at the peak of the training cycle. I feel that way when ramping up the mileage.

Kelly is quite a speed queen on the bike! You'll have to work hard to keep up with her strong legs!

Have a wonderful day!
