Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Ughh.  Legs felt like lead.  Was really concerned with getting done so I could go see the kids off for the first day of school.  Legs just felt like they were 1000 lbs each.  Last half was harder than the first.

First 2 - 14:48/7:24 pace

Second 2 - 17:52/8:55 pace (did have to wait at a light, but that wasn't tooooo long.  Legs felt yuck for after that.)

32:40/8:10 pace

OH!!! School started. I am jealous---we have two more for my 3 elementary kids and one more for the High Schooler (I wouldn't mind keeping her at home, though---she babysits the 3 year old without complaining!)

That was a speedy run, so no wonder your legs felt like YUCK. Just keep pluggin' along, but take it easy so you can beat me on Saturday!

BTW---the shirt is not crazy (cause I am not crazy, just a little weird). You will just know it is me if you see me.

I guess the first two miles could have made my legs tired for the last 2. I think it was the trail yesterday. It was more hilly than I usually run.

Ok crazyshirt (new nickname?). Any particular color to watch for?
