Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Went to the gym with my friend and got a little run in.  I sure don't like running on the darn treadmill.  And I miss my GPS when I run on the treadmill, miss the data.  :-(  Oh well at least I got some miles in.

I'm worried that Sat will be very snowy on the JRP.

From jona on Thu, Dec 18, 2008 at 12:51:15

Oh you are funny!

From Kelli on Thu, Dec 18, 2008 at 12:54:16

No, I am cute!

From jona on Thu, Dec 18, 2008 at 13:02:56

You say cute, I say funny. Both are great words for your sarcasm!

From Kelli on Thu, Dec 18, 2008 at 13:04:12

Scott calls me cute when I am being a smart alec. I guess you should call me funny, huh???

ANYWAY, you ran, so that is GREAT NEWS!!!!

From Kelli on Thu, Dec 18, 2008 at 13:05:08

Oh, I just noticed that you said you are worried about the run being too snowy. ME TOO!!!! Whatever will we do? We can just skip it and go to breakfast and eat and chat!

From jona on Thu, Dec 18, 2008 at 13:10:59

I've heard that before too, I've just forgotten it. I can remember my mom saying that to me. Had I said that to you I would have been meaning that your being a smart alec, or sarcastic.

Thanks for prodding me! Someday I might be as good at running as you and Scott. :-)

I am worried about a ton of snow. At what point do we say no go? Maybe I'll drive up that way today and see how the trail looks.

I'm all for having a breakfast get together! FUN!

From marion on Thu, Dec 18, 2008 at 22:21:06

Do they plow the trail? Is there a gym we could take over. FRB runners on 15 treadmills! We could play rocky music and the first one to 10 miles wins!

From Kelli on Thu, Dec 18, 2008 at 22:41:12

I do not know if they plow the trail. Scott ran on the parkway up here and it actually was plowed. They also plow all of the trails in our neighborhood. BUT, I bet it is not plowed.

I say we show up, if it does not work out, we will all go to breakfast in our cute, sexy running tights like hoochie mamas!

From tarzan on Thu, Dec 18, 2008 at 23:20:23

We could call and see if the track at the Ice Oval is open in Kearns and run there. Everyone could visit a lot and we could stop and eat often.

From jona on Fri, Dec 19, 2008 at 03:21:29

I'm liking the ideas of eating!

From Teena on Fri, Dec 19, 2008 at 15:51:55

That's right ... you're a "data boy." Nice job getting in some miles Data Boy!!

From jona on Fri, Dec 19, 2008 at 16:01:21

Hey Teena, Good one on "Data Boy".

Good to see you getting miles in with lower pain!!!! Keep going at it slow, you'll be back!
