When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Well went out for the first time in a week.  Hamstring felt good.  Took it easy for the most part.  Had a friend with me that runs just a little slower than I, but if he knew what he has in him he would be blowing me away.

Went up the canyon to Bridal Veil.  Muscles at the top of my quads are a little sore, but feels good.  Will go out again Monday.  Then hopefully out every day.

Ran next to the Colorado river just outside of Moab.  The same road the Moab half is on in March.  Fun trip with the scouts, not much running though.

Had a friend call me and ask me to meet him in the AM so he can get back into running. Wow slow miles, but only 2, then I ran some more by myself. Going to see if I can get switched to AM running. Meeting him again tomorrow.

Got out in the AM again.  I ran with that friend, slow 2.5 miles or so.  Wasn't feeling really good, so just ran back home, (1.5 miles) Going out and then back home pace was 8 mpm.

My legs felt like I had gained 30 lbs.  I hate that.  I enjoy running in the morning, I just wish I didn't have to fight to get myself out of bed.

I think I was pretty much 8 min miles except one about mile 4 I think I was more like 7:30 - 7:45.
