Went to the gym and did about 30 min of spin, then ran a few miles. First mile was slow (8:20), then I was wanting to see how long it would take me to get it down under 8. That is harder than I thought. At mile 2 or somewhere near there I was about 8:10, then by mile 3 I was down to 8. I new I was under by 3.5. Dang mind games! I want to increase my speed, so I cranked it up to 6:40 pace here and there. Tried to keep that pace for at least .25 miles at a time. Gym was hot!
