Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Married to Kelly (with a 'Y')

Ran 8 this morning before work.  My legs were tired from Sat.  I always get to this point in the season and wonder how I will possibly finish the season and make it on the marathon.

Hope everyone has a great day!

8 is G8 !!!

WAY to get up early to get'er done!!!

Where did you run on Sat.?

I know what you mean about this point of the training cycle! The mileage is piling up and the body needs the extra sleep to absorb all that training! You are doing great!

Have a nice week!

How is Kelly's foot?

From Jon A on Tue, Aug 17, 2010 at 11:26:38 from 67.214.249.195

Hey Smooth, Kelly's foot is doing better, but not ready to run. She took her boot off for half the day yesterday and she is trying again today. :-

Sat I ran a couple miles up around us, then ran down 12 E and got on the JRP and headed south. Then turned around at the end and came back up to that gas station we ended at when you were with us. Kelly rode her bike and did out and backs while I tortured myself. :-)

What is your next race?

I really enjoyed that run with you and Kelly. It was by far one of my funnest run!

Here's to speedy healing for Kelly! she is being very patient!

I am running Park City Marathon this Sat. Then I am going to do Pocatello two weeks after that on Labor Day weekend! Not racing, just treating them as extra long training runs. I have also signed up for Goblin Valley 50K, 3 weeks after SGM. I think I'm addicted!

Marathons -> long runs, you are amazing. I think that the addiction has a strong hold on you! :-)

Hey, it was so nice to see you run by this morning! I guess you're blogging your runs on FB now? I'm not on FB.

Have a nice day!

Smooth, It was great to see you, the highlight of my run. You should get an account on FB, you would set records for most friends!
