Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Nice miles and pace!! Isn't your garmin fun? I could get stuck playing with is ALL day long!!! I'm glad it doesn;t work indoors! :D

Do you use a garmin? Which one? I do like it. I keep finding things that I didn't know about. The core stuff is fun. I do however find that I have to ignore some things.

An interesting thing I like to watch is when I hit a stop light I have to wait for, I switch to the heart rate and see where I am, then check when I'm about to take off and see how much I drop. I have it in my head (wrong or right, good or bad I don't know) that the faster/more I can drop in a short time the better I think my condition is.

Yep- I have a 201. It's basic, but it covers the bases for me :) You stop for traffic lights? :)

Yeah, I'm a wimp. I look forward to the breaks.

Did you sign up for the runners series for St George next year?? You NEED to be there, you are fast!

From Sunnyrun on Mon, Oct 06, 2008 at 16:56:23

Too bad you didnt make the marathon - the runners were amazing out there in the rain.

From jona on Mon, Oct 06, 2008 at 17:23:35

I'm signed up for the runners series. This not getting in is not going to be an issue next year! I am just sick that I didn't get to run this year. I've had to stop reading the entries because it just makes me more sick. I'm amazed how much I had my mind set on being in the stupid race. Oh well another challenge.

From Kelli on Mon, Oct 06, 2008 at 17:58:20

AHH!!!! That makes me feel so bad, I am so sorry. I was just blown away that no one dropped out. Every year, no problemo!!!

So, which races are you going to do? Painters and....

From jona on Mon, Oct 06, 2008 at 19:00:18

Kelli, that was not meant at all to make you feel bad. YOU gave me some hope. THANK YOU!!!! Please don't feel bad!

From Kelli on Mon, Oct 06, 2008 at 19:33:29
