Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Ahhhh, good run, ok speed. 7 miles. Splits were 8:23, 8:04, 8:30, 8:14, 7:06, 8:00, 7:13 for a 7:56 average overall. Mile 5 was .60 downhill and .4 flat. Felt good that I held close to 7, then mile 7 was flat with some rollers, again pleased that I held a faster (for me) pace.

Have a GREAT day!

How's Kelly's foot? Is she ready for a run? What's your running plan this weekend?

From Jon A on Thu, Aug 26, 2010 at 16:57:40 from 67.214.249.195

Hey Smooth,

Kelly's foot isn't doing that great. It will take longer than she would like it to. I think at this point she is consigned to maybe trying the marathon, using a run/walk method. We tried running the other night, only made it about .5 miles before pain was to much. Thats after 4 weeks of no running. I think its gonna be a while. :-(

I need to run 20-22 on Saturday. What are your plans? Kelly will probably want to ride her bike around my route while I run.

So sorry about Kelly's foot. Is she taping it? Give it couple more weeks. She is being veer y patient!

I am running 13 this Sat b/c I have Pocatello next Sat. I'll either run to Alpine or do the Porter Rockwell trail in Draper!
