Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Went with a friend of mine, he wanted to run with me so he could be faster at the 5k we are doing for the turkey tri.  He made a big mistake and ate before he came.  He couldn't go very good.  He got 2.8 in before he called it good.  I started running around the track there where he was watching his sons soccer game.  After a mile he joined me for a lap, and pooped out again.  That completed a fast mile for me, 7:19.

Woo-hoo, look at those speedy times. And, how did you like not running alone?

I think running with someone helps. I should find some people to run with. Phil pooped out a little to early.

I used to run with my ex-wife, ran with her every day. Sometimes there would be another lady join in. I don't mind running with others. About 4 months ago I was meeting a guy from the old ward and running with him, he was painfully slow, but he needed the commitment from another runner being there, so I stuck it out with him. Until he no-showed 3-4 times.
