Went to the gym again. I know I should go outside, and on Saturdays when I have others to go with I go outside, but when I'm by myself I don't like the cold more. Ran into a old mission friend. He started his mission just a month before me, and served in the same area's a couple times. I think whenever I feel bad about my sitsuation I will recall what he is going through. In 2007 he and his wife found out that she has Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's Disease". She is mentally just fine, but she is watching her body just totally fall apart. She is on a special breathing thing that forces air into her lungs, she can exhale, but has lost most use of her body. (arms, legs, body). They have 3 girls 18 down to 9. Counting my blessings right now!
