Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Went over to the JRP and ran North First, then South.  Kelly rode her bike and met me there.  She would ride to the end of the trail, then turn around and go to the other end.  Pretty casual day for her.  She logged 40 miles.

I felt mentally better.  There was a spot here and there that I was struggling with the mental game of keep going, but that was around mile 8/9.  I need to increase my overall pace for these long runs.

Have a GREAT weekend!

Hey, what time were you and Kelly there? I was there 6-9am. I hear ya on the mental game. GOOD JOB getting 15+ done. Your AP is good. What's your marathon pace?

Kelly logged 40 miles? and it's a casual day? She's an AMAZING athlete! GREAT JOB to you both!

Smooth - my MP is (should be) 7:30. I'm hoping that I can get my long run AP down towards 8 in the coming weeks. I think if I could get out in the AM (early) when its cooler I could keep the AP down around 8. The first 7 miles I held a 7:50 pace, but then the heat started getting to me. :-

Teena - Yep, having a good weekend, thank you. You KICKED some trash on your week and long run yesterday! Good job!
