Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Ran up the canyon again, ran the 8 mile loop.  Had a tail wind going up, which was nice because I always feel like I have to work hard when its in my face, so mentally I just thought it was pushing me up the canyon.  30:58 for the 4 miles going up.  Figured I should be less than that going down even with a tail wind.  27:45 for the 4 miles coming down.  Worked hard on a couple of the miles.  Had one section that I hit 5:07 min/mile, wish I could hold that for several miles.  Anyway, good run.  Pleased with the speed.

Total time 58:43/7:19 average pace.

Splits: 7:28, 7:36, 7:55, 7:49, 7:00, 6:47, 7:18, 6:42.  YEAH, two miles under 7.

Have a great day.

You have a great day, too.

In my dreams, I run as fast as you!!!!

Tell Kellie HI!

Kelli, you have so much endurance, you pace me like I'm standing still during races. Oh wait, I was standing still, because I pooped out. :-)

You must have been thinking you were on Tylers blog, but I will tell Kelly hello. :-)

Nice run. Someday I'll be able to run that distance at that pace. I'd just like to feel comfortable around 8 min/mile pace. Not there yet, but getting close.

Yeah right Jun. You run that all the time. I really think your mountain running puts you in such good shape. I need to follow your example more.

I can not keep track of all of the spellings for MY name!!!

Tell KELLY hello for me.

I know how it is! I was pretty much just teasing you!!! Kelly refers to you as Kelli with an "i", or Kellie with "ie". Its hard to keep them straight. Actually what I do is always say "Kelli, Scott and Kelli" or "Kellie, Tyler and Kellie" then Kelly knows who I am talking about.
