Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Ran from my house up Provo canyon and back to my house.  Going up there was a pretty hard head wind, I have such a mental hard time with that.  I feel like its harder to breathe.  I know I should look at it as if I am just getting air rammed into my lungs, but I don't.  Its harder to breathe.  Oh well.

Made the turn around at mile 5 in 39 min.  Then had a 2 min negative split going back.  Mile 6 and 7 were 6:51 and 6:56.  Mile 8 is mostly uphill so I tried to have some good effort, not as much effort as miles 6 and 7, but ok effort, that one turned in at 7:53, then the last two were mostly flat getting to the house.  Miles 9 and 10 were 7:10 and 7:36 pace.  Felt good, was tired at the end.

Have a GREAT day!

Awesome run DB!!!!

Check out those sub 7s!!! Seriously ... that was a killer run. Nicely done!

I am horrible with headwinds. They just plain stink!

Your speed is back. You are looking good for SG.

Thanks Teena and Jun. I wish I was in as good of shape as you two.
