Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Ran from the house to about 1 mile up Provo Canyon.  I'm surprised how my legs are still sore. The down hill is just yuck.  Usually I like to open up and let the down take me faster, but the top of the quads are just SORE......

So, another easy day.  This week will be all slower, like this run or Mondays run.

Have a wonderful day!!!

Nice run and 7:45 A.P. isn't slow to me! Good job!

Thanks Leandra, its all perspective. You will be thinking its slow before you know it. (if I recall you are beginner runner)

You are pushing through, which means that you may not be feeling very fast, but you are improving on your mental toughness, something you said you wanted to improve.

mine are still sore too. But it hasn't slowed down my training. Just ice and stretch:)

Yep, you're getting tougher!

Thank Smooth and Teena - I feel like I'm making progress, but then things like Hobble Creek come along and show me I am not that ready.

Josse - My legs felt better today. (Thurs) BUT, I pulled something just above my ankle on the outside of my leg. Was hard starting today, but never got worse.
