But the first 3 were more fun!

Thanks Tyler.
Kelli, I would agree. Three with Kelly is better than without!

Hey Jon,
Very NICE "Kelly" miles and speedy 3 in Lehi. What time and where were you running? I ran in the morning around the bench from my house to Smith's to 1600 West and back to 600 E to home for an 8 miler. It was windy.

Hey Smooth, we didn't run until evening. Ran down around the elementary school on 300 W, then back over to Kelly's. That is 3 miles, then I ran that again alone.
I'm confused where all your route went. Smiths is right there by Kelly's, but isn't 1600 W way over towards Thanksgiving Point/Interstate? Lehi is so stretched out, and in funny ways. AF jets in here and there, one second your in Lehi, the next Highland. "I'm so confused." :-)

Jon,
Smith's is about 1600 East, I think. The light at Micron/dentist office is 1200 East. I live just west of 600 East which is the main road west of Kelly's. From my house to the Smith's light is exactly 1.6 miles.
At the Smith's light, I turn around and go west running on 3200 N to the Center St. Roundabout and run up to Bull River Rd all the way to 1600 West which is where the canal trail ends. It is very close to the light by the Traverse Mountain development. I wish I know how to link my run from my Garmin Training Center onto the blog so you can see the route. It is all within the Lehi bench. I love to do tempo runs on this route. I can make a loop anywhere between 4 to 12 miles with or without hills.
Besides running the "bench". I like to run the hills here. There are 5 hills that run north-south:
1) 12th East ~ a V-shape killer steep hill.
2) 6th East ~ not recommended with narrow and blind curve. It used to be the choice of hillwork for the High School xcountry team until too many homes/traffic come into the area.
3) Center St. ~ short and perfect for hill sprints/repeats.
4) 3rd West ~ This is my favorite, 1.5 mile long, wide and straight.
5) 12th West ~ I run this alot. I love the 0.3 mile at the top to Bull River Rd.
There's a good fairly steep hill going east/west on 2600N from about 12th West to 300 West. A less steep hill parallel this one is on 3200N. But I really like running the rolling on Bull River.
The block my house sits on (2600N, 600E, 3200N, Center St) is a perfect 2 miles square. This is where I do my Yasso's 800.
Sorry, didn't mean to go on and on about the running routes here. You'll have to have Kelly show you around.
