Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Married to Kelly (with a 'Y')

Nothing yet today, have plans for evening run.  I will write more later.  But for now, I'm at work and I put some tunes on and wanted to share this song.  Enjoy!

Ran at the gym with Kelly.  Ok, she rode the bike and lifted while I ran.

Good run, 6 miles at a good pace, since I was on the treadmil I bumped the incline up.  Started with incline on 1, bounced around to 2, 2.5 for a couple miles.  Mile 4 I did about .5 miles at 5 percent incline and about 7:45 pace.  That was work.  I almost had to step off the side to let the incline go down.

My kids danced to your RAD song!

Yeah. I think there were people dancing in the hall here at work.

That was too cool Jon! ;)

You and your songs! That is a new one to me, but Emma likes it! We are on our 3rd listening right now.

Nice jamming jig. Now get out there and run under the bright half-moon.

From Smooth on Thu, Jan 15, 2009 at 14:06:52

O, you didn't go run outside. It was a "date" workout. I get it. Nice "hill workout". Did you show the numbers to Kelly? I am IMPRESSED! Check out that 7:45 on that hill!!! :D

From jona on Thu, Jan 15, 2009 at 14:27:31

Smooth, nothing to be impressed with. Is 2-3 incline a hill? The 5 incline was hard, hard to maintain the speed.

Like fitting dates in anywhere I can!
