Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

My legs are sore!  I can't believe how hard the run was today.  I feel like such a wimp.  The mile took a long time and I felt like I had to work really hard for every step.  My right ITB was/is tight.

New shoes felt good.  I think they will work well.  I usually get the gel Cumulas, but they were out of my size, so I got the step up model.  The cushion is supposed to be nicer/better......

Shouldn't this have been at recovery pace??? You had a killer run on Saturday. You are so stinkin' diehard!!! (You seriously need to learn how to run slow.) :)

You're NOT a wimp! You got out and ran with sore legs! Good recovery run! Pretty fast pace for recovery day. Take care of that ITB. Glad you got new shoes! Wish I bought new ones for Sat. O well! Have a great week!

Teena - Your one to talk! Blisters bigger than old faithful, and slow to you is 7:30. :-)

Smooth - I wish I could keep up with you millage wise! Your awesome!

It's true, you can all zip it. You three talking about slow is like listening to a group of cheetahs chat about jogging.

And if you don't mind, I'm just going to sit in my office and giggle at myself for that cheetah comment.

Jun - That is dang funny. YOU should not talk. Your gonna come out of the mountains and show us all what speed is!
