Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Married to Kelly (with a 'Y')

Got out early to run today so I could get my run in and see kids off to school.. 8 mile loop down to Costco and back to the house. Time was ok. I need to be a little faster. I'm about a minute off my desired marathon time for 8 miles. But on a positive note I took it easy on the east side when I could have pushed the pace easier (tail wind and slight downhill).

I think I am coming down with something, my legs are super tired and I am soooooo sleepy I can hardly see straight.  Hopefully I can shake this soon.

May be the tiredness come from getting up super early? Did you eat something before your run?

No worries about the time...still plenty of time to get up to speed. NICE pace and mileage!

I didn't eat. I was up early so I could go see Kelly's kids off to school and then see mine. So I was up your way this morning. I watched the roads for you, but didn't see you. :-) I will really like it when I don't have all that darn commute.

I have never been an "eat first then run" runner, but I do eat a piece of toast and a banana before races.
