Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Drove up to Kelly's house to see her before she left for work, then ran from there.  I figured I would get a little more exposure to the streets up there.

I saw this girl running up ahead with a Great Dane.  I used them as a carot.  I just about caught her.  I got about 30-40 feet away and had to turn.  As I was apporaching the turn I could see the dog pulling harder on the leash and I could hear the girl yelling NO and STOP to the dog.  I think the dog must be twice the size of that girl.  I wonder, can you say you ran a 7 min mile if the dog pulls you?  Your legs are going.

Well, I don't have my watch uploaded to the PC yet, so no lap data.

Oh, currently no pain on the achilles.  Muscles on upper legs are noticably tired.  I wonder why.  Odd.

Since I liken my life to the show Scrubs, i will just say that this is pretty freaking cute. It reminds me of when JD is dating that one girl, but because they are so busy they go to each other's place like twice a day to have a kiss.

Jon, doesn't she leave for work at some insane hour??? Good job!

Glad for the pain in the Achilles being gone, odd pain seems to be part of running, and glad the Great Dane did not get loose and come and eat you for breakfast!

When is the wedding????

Jun - I think I have seen 10 min of Scrubs. But that sounds like me, I would drive to Kelly's house to kiss her. She only lives 13 miles away. She will stop by my office on her way home from her work just to "give me a kiss". :-)

Kelli - This time of year she tries to ride her bike in the am, and when the weather is good she does. But biking in rain stinks! So she left at 6:30 today. But your right, she does a lot of her work outs at like 3:30. TO EARLY for me.

You know, when you are married that alarm clock is going to wake you up so you might as well just get up and go out and run!!!! Things to look forward to.
