Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Dang, had I known I was .03 from .5, I would have gone in a couple circles to make it nice and even.

Ran from the house towards Provo canyon, then did a couple miles around the cemetery track.

Feel a little better today, but still some YUCK in me.  My right achilies is acting up again, well, I should say it feels like my whole right leg is acting up.  Need to be better about stretching, espcially the ITB.

I'm so OCD, I like to make it even too!

Take care to stretch and roll that ITB. May be you should take a rest day tomorrow so you'll have fresh legs for the 20 miler on Sat. Just a thought. Well, this Monster month will be over before you know it. Can't wait for taper time. We're getting tired and beat up, aren't we?

Smooth, YES, yes I'm taking the day off tomorrow and yes we are getting beat up. This is the hard month, but like you said it will be over before we know it.

This yucky air is going to kill me though!

Incredible pace Jon!

Yes, we are getting beat up ... but man do I ever wish that we were 10 weeks out instead of just over 4!!!

From Jon A on Fri, Sep 04, 2009 at 11:39:21 from 67.214.249.195

Teena - Yeah, it would be nice to have the urgent feel and the fitness level that I have now and have 10 weeks to go instead of 4. I don't know that I will ever feel like I have enough time.
