Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Married to Kelly (with a 'Y')

Went to the Jordan River Parkway with Kelly and her Friend Wendy.  They rode their bikes while I ran.

Had an "Animal Planet" run.   about 3.75 miles into the run I came across a Red Tail Fox that got stuck in the fence.  She was ready to chew her foot off to get out.  I called animal control and wait to see if could get her out.  Looked like she died for a minute or so.  But after they got her out of the fence she laid there for an minute and then woke up and ran off into the field.  I sure hope she lives.

Saving the fox took so long I had to cut the run short.

Wow - That makes it 4 times in a week. Someone must be having a good influence on you. :)

Cool fox story. Aren't you glad you saved its life?!

It was fun to get see you and Kelly again! You sure can tell you two are happy!!! I can't wait for the next time we get together.

Maurine & Leslie,

It was good to see you two. Kelly and I had fun socializing with everyone. I think it would be great to try and do that kinda thing every now and then.

I think we are all going to run Lehi JRP this coming weekend. Everyone invited!

Nice run and good on you for saving Miss Fox. I'm sorry about Kelly's fall and hurt back. I hope she feels better soon. It was so fun to see you two Sat. night. I agree, we need to do that again sometime. I'm game for the LehiJRP run this Sat. if I can talk Larry into letting me skip skiing.

Smooth, I sure like our little group of running friends we have started up. Such great people!

I'm going to run JRP, I think Kelly will get a friend or several and ride it a few times while we run.

TUESDAY WAKE UP CALL!!!!

Is Kelly gonna come and run on Saturday?

From jona on Tue, Feb 03, 2009 at 16:08:00

Hey Kelli, thanks for the wake up call. Was hoping to avoid it this week, but have been feeling yuck all day yesterday and today.

I don't know if Kelly will run or bike Saturday. I think I have her talked into running Spectrum 10k. But her back is still hurting from falling down ice stairs.

Thanks again for the wake up call!

If you are feeling YUCK, skip it! I usually do!

I did not know Kelly fell down the stairs! OUCH.
