Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Married to Kelly (with a 'Y')

Ran up in AF while waiting for Kelly and her son at a Dr appointment.  I had no idea where to go, that always throws me off.  But, I got out.

I'm feeling like garbage, sore throat and achy body.  Hope I can get some running in if this turns into big yuck.

Hope you have a great day!

Running up AF would be cool. I was looking at the map and really want to run the alpine loop to Provo Canyon once the road opens. I worry about the width of the road and oncoming cars. I wonder if anyone around here has done that.

I know people bike the loop all the time. I will probably take my maiden voyage over the loop on a bike this year. I think you would be fine running it. Oh, I have a friend that said his friend had run the loop. I'll double check with him and see if I'm remembering correctly.

I did go run some trails up AF canyon last summer. That was wonderful!!!

I hope that you get feeling better! God job on getting out.

I hope that you are feeling better today Jon! Spring feels like it is here today, do you think it will last?

From jona on Wed, Mar 18, 2009 at 14:58:51 from 69.27.13.147

Kelli, I sure hope spring is here to stay. Check out my comments with Mattk for today, would you and Scott like to do that run sometime? Its pretty much the canyon part of the Provo Canyon Half that I'm pretty sure you guys have run.

Hope you're feeling better together. Take lotsa fluids and extra hour of sleep.

I've run up the AF Canyon at the turnoff to Silver Flats. The shoulder is narrow and some blinding curves to watch out for. It's perfect time of year to run it before the Timp Cave opens for the season. My son rode the Alpine Loop a few times. It scares me!!!

I should have figured you had run up there Smooth. You run everywhere.

Would you be interested sometime in doing the downhill long run that I talked to Mattk about?

Sounds great to me as long as it is beautiful outside!

Spring is never here to stay, this Utah. Mother Nature likes to mess with us here!!! It will probably snow again.

I love running that trail. I'm game!

Hope you are feeling better. It was a big week for lots of sickness. Mine is starting to finally ease up.

It was nice meeting your daughters tonight. What a cute family. No pressure here, but I know another couple on this blog are tying the knots in April. So when's THE "W" PARTY for you and Kelly gonna be?

From Kelli on Sun, Mar 22, 2009 at 22:15:09 from 71.219.76.202

Yeah, no pressure!!!
