Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Married to Kelly (with a 'Y')

Ran up Provo Canyon.  Body was very achy starting off.  Need to get my back adjusted, my right foot is hurting on the top, above my arch.

Took the first mile "easy", a head wind made me feel like I was going SLOW, so I would push harder and ended up with an easy time, but felt like I pushed it.  Tried to make the next mile faster, and goal was to make the last 2 faster.

Have a great day!

Ran 2.85 this eve with Kelly.  Flat and easy.  She had just done some hard hills on her bike, but needs to get some running in for an upcomming tri in St G.

Nice run. You must live near the Provo Canyon, that is one of my favorite places to run, I haven't done it in a couple of years, I need get over there.

Britta - I know, you would be much faster!

Leslie - I live about 3 miles away, I drive there most of the time so I don't have to deal with the city traffic. I do love to run that canyon!

Jon - is Kelly going to do the Spudman? My sister got drawn in the lottery and I am going up with her as her support system. She is also signing up for a triathlon the day after St. George that is over in Las Vegas.

Maurine, Kelly is doing St George Tri next month, and that is it. She is more of a biker. She has done a couple 100 mile rides this year, and has a couple more planned. She is also doing LOTOJA (Logan To Jackson Hole)(about 210 miles) and she is also doing Seattle to Portland (250 miles). Spudman should be fun!

My ex has done the STP several times and really enjoys it.

Does she ever do the MS bike ride in Logan in June? It is pretty popular.

I'm pretty new to the bike races/events. Yeah she did or has done the MS150. I think that is the one she had a nasty spill at last year. I think she is a maybe for this year.

I ditto Britta on that one!
