I sure didn't want to get out of bed today! My legs are still sore from Sat. I am still bummed with my training/focus/performance Sat. Run today went well. I wanted to turn around at mile 2.5 and again at 3 and again at 4. One of the things I think I have allowed is cutting planned workouts short. This has allowed my mind to quit when I shouldn't. (like at Hobble Creek) I was trying to keep the pace as close to 8 as possible. I'm really shocked how sore my legs are! I ran 20 miles two Saturdays and then all week I have felt like I am coming down with something, my legs were sore after Monday's run and for the rest of the week. Today, two days after Hobble Creek they hurt to straighten out and to go down stairs is horrible. Oh well. ON a positive note, Kelly and I got our letters from the first Pres Saturday. YEAH!!!!! Now we can set a date and move forward!!!!!!!! YeeeeeeeHAW. We are thinking Oct 16. SWEEEEEET. Splits: 7:45, 7:59, 8:06, 8:05, 7:44, 7:28, 8:05, 7:47, 7:51
