Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Married to Kelly (with a 'Y')

I think I'm coming down with something.  I couldn't wake up this morning.  Sooooo, I took a half day off work and went out for a run at 3.

Ran up Provo canyon, tried to hold close to 8:00 min pace on the way up the canyon and then wanted to hold closer to MP on the way down.

Jeff, your tooooo kind! I'm just panicking that I won't do SGM very well. This is running's version of cramming for a test. :-)

Thanks Kelli, feeling like I've got a big cold headed my way. :-( Hopefully can shake it before the marathon.

Allergies maybe?

From Jon A on Tue, Sep 22, 2009 at 19:38:05 from 67.214.249.195

Oh I can only hope, but I think not. Several kids have sore throats and runny noses. Oh well. Tough it out eh?

WOW! Those are stinkin' FAST canyon pace. AWESOME FOCUS! Check out that 6:45. Hope you're not catching anything. It's hard though with the kids bringing home the bugs from school. Lotsa fluids and rest.

Thanks Smooth, I'm hoping I can get my speed faster so I can keep up with you on the marathon.

Kelli, Great. Hopefully he will get over it soon! I feel rundown. Rest is in store.
