Short-Term Running Goals:

Stay healthy!

Would like to BQ - need to shave 23 minutes off PR.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running.

When I started running my wish that turned into a goal was to qualify for Boston. Just so I could say "I qualified for Boston."

AFTER BQ, I think I will do some Tri events.  For sure some Half Ironman events, and see where that takes me.

Kelly and I ran the Spectrum 10k.  Kelly did awesome.  Bettered her last year time by 4 minutes.  I think she has more speed in her.

I started slower than last year, I don't feel like I am nearly as ready as I was last year, so I thought I should keep it easier at first and have some at the end.  But like last year I still didn't have juice at the end.  I did see a guy try and pass me in the finish shute, but I wasn't gonna let him by without a fight.  I managed a dead sprint for the last 100 feet.  :-)

Good day!!!  Got to run with my girl!

Jon! CONGRATS on a fun race! SO HAPPY for Kelly's HUGE PR! 4 minutes! Yes, that girl has speed in her. WAY to sprint at the end and fend off that guy! You're AWESOME!!! :)

Kelli, is it your favorite because you PR'd on it? Are you running this year?

Maurine, She isn't doing the Ironman. Thats a big event!

Thanks Jeff, maybe sometime this year I will be in as good of shape as you. :-)

Well, aside from the PR, I love the course! I love the HUGE crowds running and cheering you on, and I loved finishing the run into the gateway, I felt like a superstar! We won't be running it this year as Boston is the following Monday, but I will run it every year after this one!
